FULL ITINERARY
Day 1 – Cabo to La Paz
Departure at 8:00 AM from the historic center of San José. We’ll ride through the San José wash, crossing the Guaycura 250 route and the Sierra de la Trinidad to reach Los Barriles. We’ll stop for a remote beach lunch with our private BAJA chef before heading through the Sierra de la Gata to Los Planes. We’ll cross San Blas Trail to San Pedro and head into a challenging section known as “Los Filos,” descending into El Centenario in La Paz. We’ll end the day at Hotel La Bastilla just outside the city, enjoying our first group dinner, cold beer, serenity, and rest just 10 meters from the Sea of Cortez.
Day 2 – La Paz to Cd. Constitución
Wake up to the Sea of Cortez and a great breakfast. We’ll ride from San Juan de la Costa along the famous “Dos Mares 500” off-road race route. A 156-mile off-road day via San Evaristo, Las Pocitas, and then Bebelamas, passing through arid desert zones, rocky terrain, and canyons. We’ll take on a new technical section from Rancho Las Bebelamas to San Luis Gonzaga, and finish in Cd. Constitución at a cozy hotel with a hearty dinner and cold beers.
Day 3 – Cd. Constitución to Loreto Bay
Start the day with a steaming cup of Baja coffee. The route to Loreto Bay takes us through hidden oases, volcanic rock trails, and historical colonial jail sites. Fast dirt roads lead us to remote but magical beaches — an exotic contrast between desert and the Gulf of California. Night at the Loreto Bay Resort.
Day 4 – San Ignacio to Scorpion Bay (San Juanico)
Shorter day, about 100 miles. Fast terrain, including salt flats. We’ll stay at the Scorpion Bay Hotel and enjoy a five-star dinner by our private chef at sunset. Great food, even better vibes.
Day 5 – Scorpion Bay to San Carlos
We’ll drive along the Pacific beaches, with hardpack and some loose sand sections. Beachfront lunch. Overnight at Villas Mar y Arena, known for its views and fresh seafood.
Day 6 – San Carlos to La Paz
Coastal route with remote beaches or an alternate path through the sierra. We’ll return to La Paz and stay at the Water Front Marina Hotel overlooking the private marina.
